History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Rolf was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and meet up once more with his childhood friend
