History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the east. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Alex's homeland. Alex decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

She conceals her trident with her veritable burlap sack of a shirt, marred by chocolates. She is bald on top and has large brown tufts of hair around her ears. Her gray eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. She also is a firm believer in the womanly ideal.

History: Born in the south to a Bookbinder, Oriel learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

His amber eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Dustin lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A gifted student he started as a Shipwright, but he got bored and became a Stableman. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and balancing his hectic life and new stableman responsibilities is difficult
