When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: She is a Lycanthrope in disguise. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a ruined castle. She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Emma took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up scimitar and armor she uses now. She tends to her Sellsword job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

History: The child of a Cook, who enjoyed hunting, Hugolina was taken on many hunting expeditions. She was taken from her home at a very young age. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
