History: The child of a Scribe, who enjoyed hunting, Elysande was taken on many hunting expeditions. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She wants revenge against brigands; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and she desires to right it
