History: She comes from a rich northern family. In her 16th year, her parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Heather alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many drow want her driven away; and to end her boredom

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature monstrous two handed axe.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her father. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister; and she doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes
