History: He was born in a small mountains village. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He now mingles about in high society.

History: Born in the south to a Tanner, Jacoba learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. She has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Tanner for hire.
