History: Aldous was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He worked as a nervous Mason and found it very stressful. In the meantime he has taken over work as a Mason and occasionally as a mercenary.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Spice Merchant. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. She works hard and plays hard.

History: Born to a Gardener, her mother struggled to pay the bills. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Being a Map Maker kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

Description: He is a mite stocky and sports blue clothing, slightly heavier than average wear. His blonde hair, when down, is lengthy. His gray unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He always admired necromantic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he wants to meet his childhood hero
