History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. During her travels, Emma and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Emma discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Emma fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.

Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. She is fiercely devoted to her father, and views her father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: Elysande was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Barrister work with an outfit from a few towns over. Barrister work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She tends to her Barrister job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.
