History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. In his youth he was a Miller, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger brother on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Percival alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: Many orcs want him driven away; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Emeny isn't afraid of most anything. She has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. As long as the job gets done she does not care how it got done.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her father. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: She feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world; and she doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes

Personality: Quiet and reserved she prefers to listen than to talk. She will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. The occasional robbery is her preferred attention getting crime, but she mainly uses her means for meeting her own perverse desires.

History: Katherine was born the youngest of three triplets. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Katherine grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Katherine. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.
