History: Juliana hails from a village terrorized by brigands. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: This light-skinned male is dressed in earthy colors with a blue and black handkerchief worn on his right side. He is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. His red hair and beard is wavy and long. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady blue eyes.

Personality: He hates gnolls. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Gilbert hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. After coming to the age of reason, Gilbert took it upon himself to study the druidic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.

Description: An older woman who dresses in pastel turtlenecks beneath a black coat with blue slacks, she is not a threatening figure. Her auburn hair is heavily combed to the right. She wears an eyepatch.

Personality: She is cool and collected. She likes to make quips and puns whenever she does anything. She also makes a point to compliment her superiors and flatter them. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Through the years after Matilda was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Matilda's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by gnolls. Matilda was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

Description: He wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath his coat. He has styled his silver hair well, parting it to the right. His half smiles and brown eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Bertram fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.
