History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Norman alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants revenge against giants; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Her mother was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

History: Lance was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
