She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Apothecary they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Navigator, and she later adopted a second son.

The war was a terrible time for her, and Eloise does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She has been helping groups of widows and orphans who have fled abusive spouses or lost their families to gnolls.
