Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. As she has aged she has sought to do reparations for her actions as a youth. She is also making sure that her compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Scribe hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Anselm's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is obsessed with his god.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

She walks with a slouch but will stand straight to her full 5'10" when asserting herself. Her hair is greying and her face has many wrinkles. She wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: She is unhospitable to her core. Her small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of brigands may trigger it at times.

History: She was born into a rich family. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and many brigands want her driven away

She is wearing a tight pastel one piece outfit complete with pants, hood, and a cape, and her gloved hand is found clutching a falchion. Her long black hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. Her eyes are likewise gray. Her teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: She is a Sage first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Melissa is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Melissa was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Sage for hire.
