As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Anselm alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Anselm was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the drow.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world.
