Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Simon embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. In his 16th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and he is wracked by social anxiety

She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: She got into the Ruler business at a young age. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She has worked as a Ruler like her father before her.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Melissa was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture.
