Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Everard embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Born in the east to a Knight, Everard learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Knight hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Knight.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the south were limited. She has never given up on her poetry dream.

She had to support her now crippled father and took her father's old job. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the east; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion
