History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His necromantic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: She is highly sensitive about her name. She loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. She will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: She comes from a rich northern family. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: To be a Map Maker again; and she is unsatisfied with her job
