History: Bertram lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His childhood dream was to be a Butcher, but he was a colossal failure. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Butcher. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this southern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Slave Trader. He became a Slave Trader soon after.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the south; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions
