He wears a deerstalker hat to hide his balding. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: Gifted from a young age, Bernard studied abroad. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Bernard grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Bernard. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Motivation: To end his boredom; and he has decided he is irredeemable

Description: The woman speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. She seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if she got out from a pool a few moments ago. She wears a brown shirt with thin pastel vertical stripes and violet pants. She has no hair. This blue eyed northerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food she seems plenty friendly. She has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world.

Description: She tends to wear a green poncho over her likewise colored trousers and shirt, but does not cut a very imposing figure. She walks with a slouch but will stand straight to her full 5'11" when asserting herself. Her hair is short and auburn. She has a dull look in her blue eyes.

Personality: She likes to brag about her accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. She constantly seizes attention wherever she goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. She likes to think of herself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her mother. Like her mother and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Map Maker. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Map Maker responsibilities is difficult; and nothing but the best is good enough for her
