The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. She has dedicated herself to building a better kind of golem.

Motivation: She has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions
