History: Anselm lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Anselm and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother.

Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her singing with anyone who is interested.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Matilda embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. She is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: Matilda was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. Through the years after Matilda was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Matilda's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Barkeep for hire.

Motivation: She feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world; and sabotage a competitor
