History: Gifted from a young age, Nicholas studied abroad. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Carpenter and was forced into it by his family.

History: Her martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and to protect her home
