History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Apothecary arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Like her mother and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Apothecary. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Born in the south to a Carter, Diggory learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Carter. He became a Carter soon after.
