History: Born to a pair of adventurers, John grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and money/treasure

Personality: Sarah is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She would rather hide behind her crafts than deal with other people.

History: Sarah was born the youngest of three triplets. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion

Description: She wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with Stetson hat. She has relatively light skin and is very physically imposing due to her abundance of muscles. Her white hair is knotted and matted. Her amber eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: She will rave to anyone who will listen. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: Rosalind was born with her mother's beautiful face. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Rosalind grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Rosalind. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.
