Description: She is generally shirtless and showing off her tattooed chest. She is physically well-built. Her chestnut hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. She is baby faced.
Personality: She is a Gardener first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. She has a habit of throwing herself into exceedingly dangerous situations.
History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Mary was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and wants to open a new tavern

Description: He wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. His attire stands in sharp contrast to his pickaxe, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a dagger on it. His black hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. He wears a mask on his face.
Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.
History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Through the years after Hugh was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Hugh's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.
Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

Description: He wears a pastel vest and prefers blue and black shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. He is physically well-built. His auburn hair is unkempt and raggedy. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady blue eyes.
Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.
History: He was raised in a plains tribe. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Being a Layabout kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he has decided he is irredeemable

Description: The woman speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. She seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if she got out from a pool a few moments ago. She wears tan leather gloves, a tan jacket, and tight pants. She wears a top hat to cover her moderate length auburn hair. Her gray eyes dart from person to person.
Personality: She loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. As she has aged she has sought to do reparations for her actions as a youth. She is also making sure that her compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.
History: Rosamund hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.
Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and she possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal
