Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep black leather and dull red iron scale mail. His black hair is unkempt and raggedy. His brown eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Anselm was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Description: She is an attractive woman, lean and moderately muscular. She wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). Her hair is red and curly. Her blue eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: Emeny wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Paladin, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 7 years.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and sabotage a competitor

Description: He wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with white lining and desert motifs, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 6'3" when asserting himself. His black hair is still thick. His skin is flawless and his green eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Kyle grew up listening to his father's many stories. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Kyle took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up greataxe and armor he uses now. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature greataxe.

Description: She is wearing a tight brown one piece outfit complete with pants, hood, and a cape. She cuts an attractive figure and her suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. Her brown hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a clover scrunchie. Her eyes are green and she is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. Animals are drawn to her, and she is able to talk to them.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Mercenary hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
