History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Roger grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: Avelina was born with her mother's beautiful face. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: She possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and to reunite with her absent mother
