Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. She refers to her adoptive mother for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a ruined castle. She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Joan took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up halberd and armor she uses now. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Personality: Adelard hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs.

Description: A woman with a cold, calculating air about her, she is well dressed, but even with her fine clothing she looks run-down. She is bald on top and has large blonde tufts of hair around her ears. She wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. More though she will beg to come along on any journeys. She will attempt to stowaway on any ship she can in the hopes that it will get her further away.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered south to less war torn lands. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and she is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head. His moppish blonde hair is in a traditional bowl cut. He has green eyes and a black hat with a blue feather.

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and a strong sense of loyalty to human people
