Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: She is fixated on the number 48. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. She has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a woman enough she will sell her own mother. Money is her most trusted friend.

History: She was born into a rich family. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: She is greedy; and marry her brother to traveling adventurers

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle, and is pretty ugly. His small hat is riddled with cuts and holes. His gray eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he feels kind of lost in life
