Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Stylist they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Banker, and he later adopted a second daughter.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Helen liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Geoffrey's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature nunchaku.
