Personality: He is a Banker first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Gardener profession.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. A gifted student he started as a Gardener, but he got bored and became a Banker. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Adelard was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the drow.

When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
