Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

History: Gifted from a young age, Avelina studied abroad. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

History: Born in the west to a Priest, Simon learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills.
