History: Gerald lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Gerald was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and she is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out
