Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: Roland was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Guard hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He tends to his Guard job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Guard responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Theobald alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He wants revenge against dire rats; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the west. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the west were limited. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Anthony fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
