History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Norman grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Norman. Being a Interpreter kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and a rival would like him out of the picture

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Hubert was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and to be a gardener again

Description: A stocky darker skinned woman, she wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with feathered hat. She sports a flattop hair cut. She is missing an eye and her face is severely sunburned. Her one remaining eye shines violet.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. Jacoba is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: She comes from a rich western family. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: To unite with her sister; and to reunite with her absent mother
