Personality: Gilbert is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: A deep hatred of orcs; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
