He wears a robe, a symbol of the four houses of cards around his neck, and a monstrous two handed axe on his belt. He has done his best to style his red hair to look like a famous performer. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are hazel.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the west. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Healer arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered dancing. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She has had some formal singing training, and achieved minor success. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge.

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Ernest was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he wants revenge against dire rats
