History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Cory was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She can speak with the recently deceased. She has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a woman enough she will sell her own mother. Money is her most trusted friend.

History: Matilda was raised in a hard working conservative environment. In her 13th year, her parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Matilda alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by illithids. Matilda was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the illithids.
