History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Ermina hails from a village terrorized by goblins. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and she desires to right it
