History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Bertram was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the giants.

Personality: She loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. Energy wise she seems alert and responsive.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Emmeline was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the south were limited. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.
