History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Emmeline was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Emmeline's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. Recently the stress of being a Herbalist has made it difficult for her to sleep.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. Some 10 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Robert never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

History: She was born into a rich family. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered south to less war torn lands. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
