History: Born in the north to a Ploughman, Balimaar learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Balimaar took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up longsword and armor he uses now. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge. She has worked as a Seamstress like her mother before her.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Don was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality.

Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. She constantly seizes attention wherever she goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. She likes to think of herself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her father. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
