History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. Personality: He is happy with his job as a Butcher. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Clerebold grew up listening to his father's many stories. A gifted student he started as a Servant, but he got bored and became a Butcher. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: She is a woman who does what she needs to. She will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: She was born in the east. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Oriel grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Oriel. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Layabout for the past few years.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Cursed with lycanthropy at a very young age, Hunter has worked very hard to control his curse. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and to reunite with his old friends
