History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Bertram grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Bertram fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Body Guard for hire.

Motivation: He wants to get laid; and balancing his hectic life and new body guard responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Baker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is content.

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. She is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She married young, but lost her spouse to brigands. After a long history of fighting, Beatrice and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She feels kind of lost in life.
