History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. At a young age her father died while driving off some drow. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Rosalind hails from a village terrorized by giants. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Guard for hire.

History: Roland lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He bought a shield and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.
