History: Ralf was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and to share knowledge with the world

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She is fiercely devoted to her father, and views her father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-sister.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Mason they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Fletcher, and she later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister.
