Description: A pudgy man standing about 5'3" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for his hunting needs. Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Bertram embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of orcs may trigger it at times.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He moved out south to avoid the crime he committed. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.
