History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In her 18th year, her parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Herleva alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born to a Soapmaker, her father struggled to pay the bills. As a very small child her family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. Her mother, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect her and cast a teleportation spell that whisked her away. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Randal abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
