Alice Thackeray, Female Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. She wears dull brown sweaters, loose black pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath her sweater she keeps a concealed longsword, just in case. Her black hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. Her face possesses mild wrinkles. Her smile is extraordinarily sincere though she does not smile often.
Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes goblins are coming to abduct people. She would rather hide behind her crafts than deal with other people.
History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Alice was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Alice's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
Motivation: A deep hatred of goblins; and many goblins want her driven away
Ideals: Artistic. Flaws: Ugly, Shy, Antagonistic. Bonds: Enemies. Occupation: Merchant
Voice: Sounds elderly

Her father taught her the rudiments of the Sculptor arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Hugh Trollope, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He wears a brown costume with the symbols of luck on his torso. His white hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His eyes are blue and catlike.
Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. He takes great joy in being the best Carter in town.
History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. During his travels, Hugh and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Hugh discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Hugh fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.
Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
Ideals: Pacifist. Flaws: Disease. Bonds: Job, Adventurer, Religious. Occupation: Carter
Voice: Sore throat, cough
