History: Don hails from a village terrorized by giants. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Human compassion; and many giants want him driven away

He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: Born to a Cartwright, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He's also a talented Cartwright, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: She has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Shipwright who has hired her part-time. Maynild enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In her 13th year, her parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Maynild alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by goblins. Maynild was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the goblins.
